Born and raised in Australia, I grew up barefoot - riding bikes, playing soccer and getting into trouble. In my teens I got hooked on music and filmmaking. I spent all my time writing songs and making films, with whoever I could rope in.

 

At school, film and tv was the only subject I could get A’s in, so I figured better study it at University. After that I jumped into the real world and landed a job at a small production company, where I began to hone my skills as an editor - as well as shooter, grip, sound, coffee-maker...you get the point.

 

I moved to Canada on a whim in 2012 and then forgot to leave I guess, because I’m still here, in Toronto. Turns out it’s quite a nice place.

 

Since then I’ve made a whole lot of stuff - films, music, music videos, tv shows. I’ve written, directed, composed and attempted to act - but it’s editing where I’ve spent the most time and where I’m most at home. Sitting in the edit suite (or standing - yes, I’m one of those losers) is just where it’s at for me. I love taking a bunch pictures and sounds, piecing them together and creating something beautiful. Or disgusting, or hilarious or whatever it is. It’s kinda magic and I’m addicted to it.
